1) Comme ton énoncé ne donne pas de graphique, j'en place un en pièce jointe. 
Dans ce graphique, les fonctions sont définies sur R.

La parabole (fonction carré) est au-dessus de la droite (fonction affine) pour x ∈ ]-inf ; -1] U [2 ; +inf[.

S = ] -inf ; -1] U [2 ; +inf [

2) x² ≥ x + 2 <==> x² - x - 2 ≥ x + 2 - x - 2
                   <==> x² - x - 2 ≥ 0.

3) (x + 1)(x - 2) = x² - 2x + x - 2
                      = x² - x - 2

4) (x + 1)(x - 2) ≥ 0

Tableau de signes:
racines : x + 1 = 0 ==> x = -1
             x - 2 = 0 ==> x = 2
