The Sorting Hat placed her in Gryffindor, like her mother - her father was a hufflepuff. When she was in her first year, Harry Potter was in his sixth year - sometimes she saw him in the Gryffindor Common Room, but she never had the nerve to talk to him directly, he was so much older and cooler than she was ! Once, Hermione Granger conforted her after she failed an exam, and she explained to her how to brew a Forgetfulness Potion. Potions really was her worst subject at school, she preferred Charms, and Professor Flitwick was really nice.
